1.  Why become a member of the Hellenic Show jumpers Club?
     Because the clubs interest is in the growth and evolution of the sport in Greece. The club shows interest in topics that concern us all such as: the event calendar, event conditions, prize money, entree fees, quality of competition arenas, the way of selection of national teams and more.
2.  What is the strength of the Hellenic Show Jumpers Club?
     The clubs strength lies in its members. The club contains a wide variety of athletes ranging from beginners to National team veterans. Through collaborative procedures the Club intervenes within the Federation making an effort to improve conditions for both riders and horses. The Club also holds a seat in the Federations technical committee showing constant participation and interest while being able to forward propositions to the Federations C.O.C.
3.  Must one compete in advanced categories to become a member?
     No. One must only be an active show jumping rider. All members are equal regardless of the categories they compete in.
4.  Must one ride in Athens to be a member?
     No. The Clubs interest is in the growth of the sport throughout the whole country. Members outside of Athens are valuable for such members can convey issues and proposals helpful to the sports growth outside of Athens.
5.  What is the cost for registration?
     By decision of the Clubs C.O.C the registration fee is set to 20 euro the while yearly subscription fee is set to 10 euro.
6.  Why must members pay a subscription fee?
     The Hellenic Show Jumpers Club is a non- profit organization. Its sole income comes from member subscriptions.
7.  Must one compete in show jumping events to become a member?
     All members of the Club must be show jumping riders that compete in different categories.
8.  How is the Clubs C.O.C elected?
     The Club’s C.O.C is elected during the members’ general assembly and serves office for three years. All members of the Club have the right to vote and to stand as candidate.
9.  If one is underage can one be a member of the Club?
     Children and teenagers that participate in show jumping events can register as member of the Club provided parental consent is given. Children and teenagers are free of any fees. Children and teenagers may participate in all the Clubs activities but cannot vote or stand as candidate until their eighteenth birthday.
10.  How does one become a member?
     One can find an application for on the Club’s website. After filling it out it can be sent by email to the Hellenic Show jumpers Club.
